Stereocure

STEREOCURE LAUNCH & SAMPLER

Today is the launch of digital label and art collective Stereocure. I'm proud to say that I work with such amazing people who are not only some of the most creative minds, but also some of the chillest friends.
Stereocure is a collective of musicians, writers, and artists dedicated to a vision of contemporary music culture that is inspired by a progressive and creative spirit. We are part music blog and part digital record label. The Stereocure collective was founded by a group of childhood friends from Los Angeles, California who have developed a network of like-minded collaborators including musicians, bloggers, writers, visual artists, and managers that spans from the west to the east coast. Give a listen to the Stereocure sampler, and check out all Stereocure news Here.

Kuh-Lida

NEW KUH-LIDA SAVAGE CASUAL AVAILABLE ON STEREOCURE & BELGIAN MAN RECORDS

The newest release from the Kuh-Lida project is available now on east coast's Belgian Man Records as well as the new west coast label and collective Stereocure. Savage Casual was started and finished in Chicago, however most of the material was made during my summer residency at Los Angeles' Art House Live. I'm amazed at the support I've received and am so grateful for everyone who has helped support me this summer. Take a listen below, and be sure to check out all the great new music on Stereocure and Belgian Man

Tape Series

TAPE SERIES•A•10:04

Today I am releasing the first part of a series of tape pieces I am constructing using cheap tapes I've picked up along my travels this summer. Combining hardware processing with tape manipulation, the raw sounds will ring familiar to those who remember the days of audio-cassette. I've worked to blend grit and noise with psychedelic atmospheres to construct installment A in the Tape Series.

Art House Live

Art House Live x Smoke Don't Smoke

Kuh-Lida, Sahy-Uhns, Lawrence Grey, Groundislava, and Special Guest Deadelus

Art House Live's biggest event over the summer was a show put on by us and Tim Thompson from Smoke Don't Smoke. I opened up the night with Dlusn on visuals. Following that was Wedidit champion Groundislava. Proximal artists Sahy-Uhns and Lawrence Grey, both of whom I did visuals for. Dlusn jumped back on the video processing for the nights very special guest Deadelus, who was gracious enough to wrap up the night with one of the craziest sets I've ever witnessed. Check out photos below by Ryan Walker, as well as audio from my set.
